Pure Italian Tradition
AUTENTICO ITALIANO • IL RITUALE

In Italy, “fare la scarpetta” (making the little shoe) is the ultimate gesture of love for good food — tearing a piece of warm crusty bread to mop up every last drop of slow-simmered sauce from the pan. We bring that soul-warming tradition straight to the street, packing freshly baked artisan loaves with rich beef meatballs and 6-hour Neapolitan ragù.

OUR STORY & CRAFT

Growing up in Italy, Sunday lunches weren’t finished when the pasta was eaten — the real joy was when the fresh loaf came out to clean the pots and pans.

La Scarpetta brings that exact moment of pure happiness to the streets. Every morning, our chefs bake fresh artisan bread and fire up the sauce pots, slow-simmering Italian tomatoes, meats, herbs, and spices for over six hours.
